Dollar Tree Fines
« on: May 05, 2015, 11:12:15 AM »
Recently a Dollar Tree store in Texas was fined for some pretty basic safety violations. I always find it hard to believe that companies, especially bigger ones, don't take the time to make sure they are working safely.

The store was cited for failing to: clearly mark doorways along exit routes, place valve protection caps on compressed helium cylinders, train workers on fire extinguisher use, and provide clear access to the breaker box. For more information and to view the citations, read the news release.

I thought it might be useful to see the list of what the store was cited for. I'm sure there are many other stores that have the same issues and could save themselves from a big fine if they just stop to look around.
